Tamim hits fifty: Bangladesh vs Australia – Group A, Match 5

Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia in their second game of the Group A in the Champions Trophy.

The Tigers replaced Mosaddek Hossain with prodigious Mehedi Hasan Miraz to strengthen their bowling attack at The Oval on Monday.

Australia called up spinner Adam Zampa to replace John Hastings.

The Tigers lost to hosts England in their opener while Australia’s opening game against New Zealand washed out.

The two teams meet in a 50-over game for the first time since 2011. Bangladesh have beaten Australia only once, in Cardiff 2005.
